The Fall 8 February 1983 Kombi, Amsterdam, The Netherlands High quality audience recording Nakamichi Tapedeck>Audacity>TLH>FLAC CD 1 77 minutes 01 Words of Expectation 02 Room to Live 03 Ludd Gang 04 Tempo House 05 Kicker Conspiracy 06 And This Day 07 Hexen Definitive-Strife Knot 08 I Feel Voxish 09 Mere Pseud Mag Ed 10 Pilsner Trail 11 Garden 12 Marquis Cha-Cha CD 2 14 minutes 13 Container Drivers 14 Lie Dream of a Casino Soul 15 The Man Whose Head Expanded I may have torrented this a couple of years back...this time around I have tried to get the vocal a *little* more central (up to a point...when tweaking with Audacity you have to be careful as trying to change too much you can lose too much of the 'feel' of the sound). I also have brought the very heavy bass levels down...I feel this now has more definition. I never liked many of the 1983 gigs much...this is an exception. Some great 'yariba!'s at the start of Marquis Cha Cha, and Container Drivers is wonderful as always! :) Some quotes - "A return to the intellect and cheek of former years." (during "Words of Expectation") - "A superior knowledge of the Far East gives one a certain double vision. These are the words of drunken disorientation." (during "Words of Expectation") - "Taxi driver asks why I'm not at home with my feet well up. Canned veins run amock. Audio and virtual sock. Monochromed photographs, silver backed, of victorious chaps. Housing Association, there were men in grey in the rain. For this the huddled are truly grateful." (alternative lyrics to "Ludd Gang") - "I'd sing 'Solitaire' for the RAF but who wants to be with them, anyway?" (alternative lyrics to "Tempo House") - "Ipswich Town team conspiracy." (alternative lyrics to "Kicker Conspiracy") - "Ariba! Ariba! Ariba! Ariba! Ariba! For all the fans of romantic music, (the festival) and all that. James Dean fans. Hitch-hikers." (during the introduction to "Marquis Cha-Cha") WELCOMED IF ANYONE CAN HELP... Can you torrent these?
