Back in the Uk and back to our nemesis that is the Clapham Grand. Not had the greatest of nights here in the past mainly due to the place being full of people from London. Clapham has changed quite a lot since they tried to burn the place to the ground a couple of years ago during some riot or other. I still can’t be doing with the place. 

However.....

I was quite surprised at the relaxed atmosphere and the fact I could get two pints for under 10 quid. We walked away from the pub where the band had settled for the night and basically the place was empty. MES was doing selfies apparently if anyone was willing to hold his beer while he went for a piss. Not a bad deal I think?

This is a cracking gig yet again. Just you wait till you get to Boogie and Remainderererere. All seems to hot up as it goes on. The venue is one of those old theatres with Royal boxes and stuff like that where the sound goes out via the Gods, but I think I just about managed to capture this pretty well.

The extended Boogie is the cracker here.

The outro contains my attempt at getting the set list which as apparently ‘reserved’ !!  The bouncer was very nice about it though.

So as the band came on so late we missed our last train home. James never had a ticket for any train so we did like criminals and jumped on a train like in the movies. Bollocks to you Southern Trains with your bogs out of order and my weak bladder.

James got stuck in the barrier tailgating me in Brighton with his unfeasibly large man bag. We could have been arraeted.

And then I had to have a piss in the street in Hove. Actually that felt good to piss all over Hove. Take that Worthing piss you posh bastards.

I’m too old for all this shit.
