As Marks’s girlfriend Pam clearly stated during the ending, “this is worth 5 pounds, now fuck off”. And I think she got a point. 

I mean shock horror; Mark looks a bit under the weather and didn’t do what we wanted him to. I mean this is big shit. Mark E Smith using a radio mic back stage and getting a girlfriend to front it out for him? I nearly wet myself with the utter shock of it all. I’ve never known MES to do anything lime this in all my years. Call out the police.

I want my free guest list entry, and free Fred Perry button badge back for fuck sake. How dare he. Who does he think he is? Mark E Smith?

I took my daughter who has suffered far too many years of Fall live bootlegs since she was in a child seat. This was her first Fall gigs and she only went when she heard the words ‘Oxford Street’. This gigs has cost me a fortune in MAC make up and Victoria Secret pants. What a shop that is. I’d recommend it to any lads just for the massive video screen with the cat walk models. Bloody hell.

Anyway.

MES not on stage that much but he was for a while on his usual chair behind Pete. Then he wonders off backstage and the rest is basically radio mic stuff behind closed doors.

You’ll I’m sure have heard about Pamela Vander who announced on stage she was Marks girlfriend. She no shrinking violet as you’ll hear.

I honestly rate this as a bit of a classic. Bank on cracking form and you get a bit of chaos and a pretty decent long set. I’ve not seen many better gigs.
