Notes:

The Edinburgh Nite Club was a great compact venue. The Fall were big news at the time on the back of Grotesque, Slates
and numerous Peel sessions and were on top form.  Hex Enduction was getting its first airing this night but because the majority of the 
songs were new to the audience, the audience's patience waned hence there is continual chat in the background. This was always 
problem with early Fall gigs - MES insisted on playing new stuff / one album ahead rather than give the fans 
'the hits'- which invariably meant meant bored fans talking rather than listening intently!
THat aside, the clarity of sound and brilliance of the gig make this a very listenable and enjoyable Fall show - judge 
for yourself.  
Just make sure you get tickets to see them the next time they hit town - 'cos I know I'll be there!
