The Big Bopper recalls......"had been at Headingley to watch the Ashes test on the Saturday and got the last coach back from Leeds to Manchester where I was a student at the time. Mid-morning Sunday a Ribble bus (remember them? We had Crosville in Liverpool too before deregulation) was caught and proceeded to stop at every single small town in Lancashire. Many family visits went unfulfilled as the full bus of Fall fans steamed past all the bus stops. Few memories of the actual gig except that it was a natural ampitheatre and there were tons of small children running around noisily, only time I've seen Stephen Song and the debut for Gut and SVC............I don't know if I ever traded this back in the day but if not and it's not in circulation please enjoy.........PS: This is especially for Stranger, he'll know what I mean".
