Tiny venue at The Castle in Oldham Street. Opposite Gullivers where we couldnt get in as it was crowded, so we went to The Ancotes Lad next door where a real life Bet Lynch complete with long blonde hair and leopard skin dress served me. I did confuse her asking for wine though. I lied and said it was for my girlfriend. 
Imperial Wax now have Shane on bass. The Eagle I'm told is in Cornwall now which is somewhere near France, so things move on and Shane sounds great. Good to quickly catch up with Pete as ha passed me lugging in Keirons drum kit. Sam was complaining of having a cold he sounded OK to me. 
Heavy pummeling set with no slower bits, however I have it under good authority there are newer songs that might make it into the upcoming shows.
Very happy with the recording but Pete could be a little louder. I think it all sorts itself out. There's also quite a bit of cheery Northern people shouting things about football. I couldnt really understand what they were saying.
Recorded about 2 or 3 people back from the stage. Not really a stage though. More a small room with a band playing in one part of it!
