The first of a two night epic  in ‘you’re so called capitol’. Fantastic venue with nice staff and pristine shitters. Yep, this is yet another nuevo posh part of London, complete with radio 4 presenters and their comedian chums, nicking the fucking bar stool I was just going to perch my freezing cold arse on.
But I digress.
This was the first of two superb nights of The Fall. On this recording you will find a monster Cosmos, and epic Containers, a Weather Report without the fast bit (as it should be) and an industrial strength Blindness that tips the scales at a whopping 9 minutes and 40 seconds.
Grey again stunning and a Spider that weaves its way into the set like an old Dragnet album cover.
Very happy with the quality which is just the same as the following night. Minimal crowd chatter as I was constantly on the watch for women. Successfully avoiding them like a soldier avoids a snipers bullet.
Another fantastic night out with the best band in the universe.
