The band stepped it up here a little form the previous night in York. Wray, Jet Plane and the monster Reformation highlights here for me, however, all the new songs sound well established already and sweet to my rather buggered ears. Some great guitar work going in here. Spur’s amp sounding a bit wonky at times as well, but you can put that down to ‘on stage mastering’.

Was treated to a nice tour of the city earlier in the evening with legendary Fall taper Big Bopper, with the Bopper attended in 110 (or so)th Fall gig that night. We eventually found other taper Tock in their favoured drinking establishment, and talked bollocks over northern ale.

Which I’m afraid was my undoing. What they drink might taste a bit weird, but them Northern boys can sink a few.
